Near East Original Rice Pilaf: long grain rice and toasted orzo pasta with a savoury blend of herbs and spices.

Based on co-founder Hannah Kalajian's own recipe. Each box has the rice and a separate seasoning sachet. Just simmer on the hob with water and a little butter or olive oil; each box makes about 3 cups. Near East started in 1962 in Worcester, Massachusetts, as a small family company founded by George and Hannah Kalajian, who emigrated from Armenia.
