Ouma Buttermilk Rusks: the original South African rusk, made with buttermilk and twice-baked until golden and crunchy.

Buttermilk is the classic "homemade" rusk flavour. Dunk one in coffee or tea for breakfast on the go, or enjoy it with an afternoon cuppa. A real taste of home for South Africans in the UK. Ouma Rusks began in 1939 in Molteno, in South Africa's Eastern Cape, when "Ouma" Greyvensteyn started baking rusks from a family recipe to help her community through hard times. Today Ouma is South Africa's best-selling rusk brand.
